Witney Four Pillars Hotel is refurbished and revitalised

Blending contemporary and rustic styling to create a unique atmosphere, stage one of the extensive refurbishment of the Witney Four Pillars Hotel is now complete. Covering all guest areas throughout the hotel including leisure, dining and conferencing facilities, the revamp has provided a fresh and welcoming atmosphere with added convenience for visitors.

Upon arrival at the Hotel, the reception has been expanded to include additional check-in facilities, which is particularly important for the many business travellers and delegates staying at the hotel, and during their stay they can benefit from the wireless internet access now available throughout the premises.

The brand new Brasserie has opened to great success, serving a wide variety of fresh, home made food available at breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks and light meals during the day. The locally-renowned Carvery has been retained as now offers even better value for money, with an unlimited soup and salad bar followed by a carvery main course and choice of desserts for only £10.95.
All conferencing facilities have been given a full facelift with the latest electrical equipment including LCD projectors, plus original artwork and elegant wooden conference tables to create a stimulating yet functional environment for meetings and conferencing. “Conference Unlimited” is a new service exclusive to Witney, which provides organisers with a one-off charge to cover all the essentials including AV equipment, fax and photocopying services plus speciality coffees and pastries, and a generous two-course luncheon for delegates. If overnight stays are required, the price can be amended to include a three-course Brasserie evening meal plus full English breakfast and use of the leisure club.

The second stage of refurbishment is now underway, with each of the 87 ensuite bedrooms to be discreetly revamped over the coming months which will cause the minimum amount of disruption. With the first phase complete, Witney general manager Steve Jones commented; “We are very pleased with all of the areas that have benefited from refurbishment, not only with the décor and ambiance but the improvement in services on offer to our guests”.
